Shipping

The shipping fee for deliveries, returns and/or exchanges, regardless of the size or quantity of shoes = DKK 00.
Delivery is within three (3) working days. All orders and shipments are delivered by GLS.

 

Right of withdrawal

We naturally hope that you will be satisfied with any goods that you order from us. Your right of withdrawal applies from the day on which you receive your order and lasts for 30 days.

 

Complaints

Should you receive a defective or incorrect item, we ask that you contact our customer service department as quickly as possible. When you make a purchase on shopgreencomfort.com, you are always entitled to make a complaint within 24 months in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act (købeloven).

The rules on defects and deficiencies set out in the Sale of Goods Act may apply.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Danish Consumer Council, provided that you first submit your complaint to us in the first instance. Complaints can be submitted to the Danish Consumer Council via their website online.

 

Order confirmation and the transfer of risk

We will not deduct the amount owed from your account until we have dispatched your order.

Once we have received your order, we will send you an order confirmation via email. If you would like to amend or cancel part of your order after this point, we ask that you contact our customer service department as quickly as possible.

You will first assume ownership over the goods that you have ordered once they have been delivered to you and once we have received payment in full. Once the items have been delivered, the responsibility for their loss or destruction shall be transferred to you.

If the goods are damaged or lost in transit on their way to the customer, shopgreencomfort.com shall be liable for the cost. If this occurs, the customer is obliged to contact our customer service department within a reasonable timeframe (max two (2) months). If the goods are damaged or lost during return transit back to Green Comfort, the customer shall be liable for the cost.

 

Security with regards to purchases and payments

Green Comfort reserves the right to terminate a purchase if there is any reason to suspect fraud. Our internal security system will warn us if an order is suspicious and potentially a case of fraud.

If our security system issues us with a warning, we will choose not to deliver the order in question. This sometimes means that orders are terminated even though there is no fraud. We hope that you as our customer can show understanding for this given that we are acting in the interests of your own security. All cases of suspected fraud will be reported to the police.

In order to access your own account on shopgreencomfort.com, you will need to set a personal password. You are responsible for storing your password and ensuring that it is not accessible to anyone other than yourself. If you share a computer or device with others, you should always take care to log out in order to protect your information from other users of the same device.

 

Sales and offers

The prices stated for sales items apply so long as the item is in stock. Other offers apply for so long as the items are in stock, and provided that there is no end date stated for the offer in question. Percentage discounts do not apply to sale items.

 

Applicable law and jurisdiction

You must be 18 years-of-age or older in order to make a purchase on green-comfort.com. If you are under the age of 18, you require the consent of a parent or guardian in order to make a purchase.

These terms and conditions and your use of green-comfort.com (and all relationships that are not of a contractual nature which may arise in connection therewith) shall be regulated and interpreted in accordance with fundamental Danish law. You accept the Danish courts as the exclusive jurisdiction for the resolution of any conflicts that may arise in connection these terms and conditions.

You are liable for any degradation in the value of goods that is caused by handling on your part beyond what is necessary in order to establish the nature and qualities of the goods and to establish the manner in which they function. Returned goods must be sent back in their original condition. You must also return the original packaging and any labels or tags.

 

Information about personal data

General:

In order to fulfil our commitments under the agreement concluded between you as the customer and our company, Green Comfort A/S, with business reg. no. 18000199, we collect personal data about you. In this document, we describe our guidelines for the processing of personal data in connection with our fulfilment of the agreement. These guidelines have been developed on the basis of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation which took effect in Denmark on 25 May 2018, and on the new Danish Data Protection Act which supplements the regulations in GDPR and in the present Personal Data Act (referred to collectively as “applicable legislation”).

In the following sections, we describe what kind of personal data are collected, how such data are processed, what they are used for, who can access them and who you should contact if you have any questions or objections regarding the data collected.

 

The kinds of personal data that we collect

We ask you to provide general contact information whenever you conclude an agreement with us. The primary data that we request are your name, address, post code, telephone and mobile phone number, email address, shoe size, etc. Details relating to stock-based or limited liability companies (such as their name and address) do not concern natural persons and are therefore not covered by this privacy regulation.

The personal data that we collect is used to identify you as our customer and to provide you with services that you have purchased in connection with our agreement. Personal data which we collect in connection with the fulfilment of our agreement will be stored in our IT system and/or in a physical register.

 

How long we store your personal data for

The amount of time that we store your personal data for will depend on the duration of your agreement with us. When you purchase a good or service from us, we are required to store your personal data as documentation up until the good or service in question has been delivered to you and been paid for in full and up until any right of withdrawal that you may have has elapsed. In accordance with the Danish Accounting Act, we must store copies of invoices for a minimum of five (5) years from the time at which we conclude a trade. We store data that we have collected about you and/or your company in our IT system for as long as our contractual relationship persists, with the data then being archived after this time.

In accordance with applicable regulations, we will ordinarily store your personal data for a period of five (5) years from the end of the financial year that the material concerns. For example, if our agreement concludes in November 2017, then we are obliged by current rules to store your data until the end of 2022 at the earliest, as our financial year is the same as the calendar year.

 

What we use your personal data for

The personal data that we collect about you and your company in connection with the fulfilment of our agreement with you is used primarily for the purpose of general customer administration, including, for example, the fulfilment of our agreement with you, the delivery of goods/and or services and the issuing of invoices.

Your data will not generally be forwarded to third parties. The foregoing notwithstanding, your general contact details may be forwarded to our partners in cases where we require their assistance in connection with contract fulfilment – i.e. in order to have goods delivered to you.

Other data transfers are only permitted if the applicable legislation permits transfers of personal data in exceptional cases.

 

Your right of access to personal data

You are entitled as our customer to request that we confirm what personal data we store and process on you and in some cases you are also entitled to receive an extract from our register of personal data.

You are also entitled to request and to receive personal data that you have provided to us (data portability). Moreover, you are entitled to object to our processing of your personal data.

 

Your right to have personal data corrected

You are entitled to request that any incorrect personal data we hold on you is corrected by us without undue delay.

 

Your right to have personal data deleted

You are entitled to have personal data about you deleted by us without undue delay in cases where we no longer have a legitimate interest to store such personal data. We remind you, however, that we will be unable to delete your personal data in cases where we are required to retain the data in question by law.

 

The protection of your personal data

In accordance with applicable legislation, your personal data shall be stored securely and confidentially. We store your personal data confidentially in our IT system. Our security measures are reviewed on a continuous basis in order to ensure that our processing of personal data is proportionate and undertaken in a manner that pays regard to your rights as our customer.

 

Changes to our processing of personal data

We reserve the right to store and change these guidelines on the processing of personal data. If these guidelines are changed, then the date of the last update will also be changed in order to reflect this. These guidelines will be reviewed as necessary and at least once per year.

In the case that considerable changes are made in connection with the fulfilment of our agreement with you, we will provide you with information on this in the form of an annex to our agreement.

 

Data processing by third parties

We have signed written data processing agreements with the following third parties, which guarantees that they process your personal data in a secure and proportionate manner.

- Epay/bambora (Handles payment cards)

- Google (Analytics, Adwords, Webmaster Tools)

- Facebook (Advertisements and statistics)

All of the above third party data processors comply with the EU’s requirements on the processing of personal data.

 

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN:

If you do not want to share your information with Google Analytics, then you can install the following Chrome plug-in which prevents Google from collecting data about you: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

On Facebook, all you need to do is click on the cross that you see on our advertisements and select the option which says you no do not want to see this advertisement again. You can also “unlike” our Facebook page, which means you will no longer see our news items or offers in your news feed and that your information will not be used in the compilation of statistics about our page.
